My computer has gotten so slow lately.
So my guess is its either a virus or needs a defrag or junk files. But I have defragged and done virus scans and removed all junk files. However the program im using tells me I have 29 registry errors. Could that be leading to my slow computer? If so how do I rectify the problem?

Windows XP
2gb of ram

  6. Registry "errors" are not the cause of a slow computer, not the ones a registry cleaner finds anyway. Slow computers are caused by malware, too many programs running or loading at startup, programs running that conflict with other programs. The more programs you have that automatically run or do something at startup, the more programs you have that monitor your computer or automatically do this or that, the slower your computer will be. They all read/write to the hard drive and they all use cpu and memory.

  7. Most computers actually run slow because of a hidden part of your system, which is constantly being used by Windows. This part of your PC is called the "registry" and is the central database for Windows, which stores everything from your latest emails to your desktop wallpaper. It’s one of the most important parts of Windows and can easily make your PC run slow. The more corrupt registry files your computer has, the more it struggles to read them. The files which makes it run slower and slower. To fix this, you simply need to use a registry cleaner http://computer-e-book-money.com/ . These are small software tools which actually work by scanning through the registry and fixing any bad files that are in there. This then allows Windows to read as many files as it wants, when it wants to.
