i have windows xp
i have a Trojan.Brisv.A
Symantec. Norton found it. Norton has a removal kit
i downloaded it but i could not find the trojan.
part of the instructions to remove it manually
is to disable windows system restore.
where is the system restore?
also i have to run the computer in safe mode.

how do i find safe mode?
i tried calling a computer repair shop
but they charge 50dollars per hour to fix it
and i was told it would take 1 hour or 100.00

i think that this website will help you a lot

  2. right click on "My Computer" and click on properties. You should see a System Restore tab and a box to turn it off. Depends on your computer, but usually you press F8, F9 etc. and you will have the option to boot to safe mode. This is done when your computer is first booting. In regards to the registry, dont mess with it unless you know what youre doing.
