What are the best ways to fix xp registry?

I’m using Windows XP for about 4 years and for a long time and from year to year perfomance has reduced. I’ve heard this can happen if there is a lot of garbage in XP registry.

It is clear for me: Registry Cleaner is the best in its product line. I used it for some time and hadn’t any complaints.

    My experience with it is it only messes up your programs. And slows down your computer even more. Better off to reformat and reinstall the operating system. And upgrade your programs.
