yeah, thank you for that, but I happen to have ccleaner, and i want something better. I appreciate the answer.

you could try the free version of advanced systems care. i use it and it is great. keeps this 4 yr old machine as fast as it was when new. get it at google or email me at paul-liz@westnet.com.au and ill email it back to you. regards

    The registry cleaner in CCleaner is relatively safe if you at least somewhat know what you’re doing. But if you couldn’t use Google to figure that out yourself you probably shouldn’t be messing with registry cleaners.
