Briefly. My windows 7 computer is not currently infected with a virus or malware. I would like to catch up on how to manually remove virus from a windows 7 registry. Tried looking at a google tutorial on my own and I can’t find anything in regards to this and windows 7. Understanding the possible dangers working with the registry. Can anyone help?
Leave the registry editing up to the professionals..one mistake and poof !..no more internet or computer…..once viruses are removed from the computer there are free programs that will clean up the registry for you…..here is a basic free one………..

There are too many pitfalls to get into here. If you knew what to do you would never have asked this question. Its a treacherous place, the registry. Use Registry Clean Expert highly safe and recommended BUT always after an antiviral scan and best done under Safe Mode.

Viral programs don’t all have one specific registry entry. Every virus has to be dealt with in a different way. Mostly you have to first see what the virus program that is running is called. Then turn it off. Then you can start hunting for registry entries to that program in regedit.exe. I really wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t know for sure what you are doing. If you have a specific virus then there are loads of sites that describe how to remove it manually.

recomend Trying the free stuff first. I’ve linked to a paid anti-virus program if you want the best protection.
Good luck!
